Choosing between pond liner and a preformed pond

Flexible liner offers the greatest freedom over a pond’s size, depth and shape. A preformed shell is quicker to position but requires careful excavation and uniform support beneath the entire moulding.

Always protect flexible liner from sharp stones and roots with suitable pond underlay. Before ordering liner, include the pond’s maximum depth on both the length and width calculations, together with enough extra material for anchoring around the edge.
